All SendOffsite customers agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy and legal disclaimers outlined below.

Privacy Policy

We've created this privacy policy in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of our customers and any other visitors to our website. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices of SendOffsite.

SendOffsite's software and servers use AES encryption, and your data is encrypted on your machine before it is transmitted to the data centers. Data is encrypted at all times while stored by SendOffsite.

Users selecting SendOffsite UltraSafe must retain their account name and password in a secure location such as a safe deposit box. Accounts created using UltraSafe cannot be accessed by SendOffsite and if a user loses his password, the data cannot be accessed.

SendOffsite does not share account information with anyone except as required by law (SendOffsite cannot access data stored with UltraSafe even under a Court order; the data is encrypted and the correct password must be supplied to access the data). Billing data is maintained securely by SendOffsite's billing partner.

Additionally, SendOffsite maintains deleted files until specifically removed by the user. SendOffsite also maintains all versions of the file that a user sends to the SendOffsite servers.

SendOffsite provides a 99.9% data access service level agreement. SendOffsite datacenters are level Tier III and Tier IV as certified by The Uptime Institute.

SendOffsite provides an additional level of assurance that is not otherwise available from other backup services. All data is replicated in two datacenters, eliminating datacenters as a single point of failure. Competitors' SLAs are premised on the performance of a single datacenter.

SendOffsite maintains an email list made up of existing customers, as well as any other party who has opted to subscribe to the mailing list through our opt-in subscription process. Our customers are automatically added to this mailing list when they make a purchase, but can opt out of the list at any time. These customers will not be added to the mailing list again, unless they opt back in via our subscription process, or purchase a new service. This mailing list is primarily used for our newsletter, but may (from time to time) also be used for general announcements that may be of interest to the subscription base. Any recipient of the newsletter or any other mailing, may opt out of future mailings. This can be done by using the "unsubscribe" or "opt-out" link that would be at the bottom of any email.

The order forms on our website require users to give their contact information (their name, email address, postal address, etc). This contact information is kept on file for our own use, and will not be given, sold and/or provided in any way, to other parties. The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the customer when necessary. We do not collect any financial information, including PayPal, bank account, or credit card information. This information is collected by our 3rd party payment processor, and we do not have access to it, nor the ability to share it with any other parties.

This website may contains links to other websites that are not owned or operated by SendOffsite. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites.

We may (from time to time) use an outside ad company to display advertisements on our site. These ads may or may not contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our website, cookies received with banner ads would be collected by our ad company, and we would not have access to this information.

SendOffsite will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

SendOffsite disclaims any and all liability for any claims or damages that may result from providing the website or the information it contains, including any websites maintained by third parties and linked to or from the SendOffsite site.

SendOffsite makes no effort to independently verify, and does not exert editorial control over, information or services provided on pages.

SendOffsite does not endorse mention of Vendors, Products or Services and is for informational purposes only.

SendOffsite does not warrant against data loss on our servers, or the Backup Utility not backing up the user's files. It is up to the user to ensure their data is being backed up by the Backup Utility, and the user can check this by logging in to the Backup Utility (or the Online Portal) and performing a restoration of files. It makes good common sense to periodically ensure your files are being backed up.
